📦 Shipping Policies

We carefully pack every order to help ensure your plants and tubers arrive in the best possible condition. 

📦 Damaged, Frozen, or Broken Plants (Shipping Claims)

If your plants arrive damaged, frozen, or broken during transit:
A claim must be submitted directly to UPS using your tracking number.
Claims should be filed through the UPS website.

Because we cannot control shipping conditions, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for damage caused during transit, freezing, or carrier handling.

Shipping live plants and tubers always carries some risk, and we appreciate your understanding.


📸 Damaged Upon Arrival (Non-Carrier Issues)

We will replace tubers or cuttings reported within 24 hours of delivery, if the damage occurred prior to shipping.

Claims must include:

- Clear photos of the entire package
- Photos of the contents
- Photos of any visible damage

Product must be returned at buyers expense to receive full refund or replacement, untampered. No signs of splitting or cutting otherwise we will not honor the replacements or refund.

Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for replacement.

🦠 Virus & Plant Health Policy

We inspect our dahlias throughout the growing season for visible signs of disease or virus symptoms. We follow strict growing practices to maintain plant health.
However, dahlias are complex plants, and symptoms that appear viral may sometimes result from:

- Environmental stress
- Nutrient imbalances
- Shipping stress
- Growing conditions

For this reason:

Any suspected virus must be confirmed through professional laboratory testing.

Visual symptoms alone—including social media opinions or home testing—are not considered confirmation.

Please also understand:

Once plants leave our farm, we cannot determine when or where symptoms originated.

We are not responsible for issues related to:

Planting practices
Soil conditions
Weather
Pest pressure
Growing environment

We encourage patience as plants adjust to their new growing conditions.

No virus-related refunds or replacements will be issued beyond 24 hours after delivery.

🌿 Rooted Cutting Policy

Please open and inspect all rooted cuttings immediately upon delivery.
We are unable to offer refunds or replacements for orders that:

- Are left unopened
- Sit outside for multiple days
- Are not inspected promptly

We cannot guarantee plant performance once plants are in your care and are not responsible for issues caused by individual growing conditions or practices.

🌡️ Weather Advisory

Please check your local weather conditions before placing an order.
We do not offer refunds or replacements for plant damage caused by:

Freezing temperatures
Excessive heat
Extreme weather conditions
If your area is experiencing unfavorable weather, we strongly recommend waiting to place your order until conditions improve.

🚫 Order Changes & Cancellations

At certain times during the season, order cancellations may not be available, especially once processing or shipping preparation has begun.

All tuber and plant sales are final, and we are unable to modify orders once placed.
